Hospice by Loving Care Our mission of hospice is to allow terminally ill patients to spend their remaining time in familiar surroundings among family and friends. Care includes comfort measures and symptom control for nausea, insomnia, and agitation. Hospice is not curative, but centers on the latest medications and devices for pain and symptom relief. Hospice By Loving Care uses their specialized knowledge to treat the spiritual needs of the terminally ill person, emphasizing the importance of each individual's quality of life. This team of doctors, nurses, volunteers, aides, clergy, counselors, and therapists develop an individualized plan of care for each person, and provides supplies, equipment and medications as appropriate. Continuous care is offered for crisis intervention and end of life. Bereavement counselors provide family support for up to one year after the patient's death.
Hospice care is not 24-Hour Care. By selecting Hospice By Loving Care, families are assured their loved one will be encouraged to talk openly about their feelings and participate in all decisions regarding care to be provided. By constant contact with the patients and families, the hospice team will provide medications that allow each individual to remain as comfortable, yet alert, as possible. The Hospice team of loving, dedicated professionals is committed to ensuring a high quality of life and peaceful death.
